"To be perfectly honest, I was looking for ways of breathing new life into a tired old painting of College Street in York. I have always loved the dramatic effect that flags and banners can bring to a painting. After a great deal of searching for images of parades I came across lots of images of LGBT parades and decided that was the subject I was looking for"
This original painting is produced on canvas bonded to board and professionally framed in a hand painted deep white slip frame with a black outer.
